This year, DAA had the incredible honor of showcasing the sport of darts at the Castlemore Public School Fun Fair — an exciting community event filled with families, students, and local supporters. As part of our ongoing mission to grow the game and connect with the next generation, DAA set up an interactive darts zone where kids and parents alike could learn, play, and experience the thrill of the game firsthand.
Adding to the excitement, several of our local darts stars were on site to meet fans, sign autographs, and take photos with the community. Their presence brought a sense of inspiration and professionalism to the event, and they generously volunteered their time to teach kids the basics — from grip and stance to scoring and sportsmanship. For many of the students, this was their very first introduction to darts, and their enthusiasm was infectious.
The highlight of the day was a high-energy, three-game medley match that brought everyone together. Crowds gathered to watch the fast-paced showdown, cheering on their favorite players and getting a taste of competitive darts action. It was a thrilling finale that perfectly captured the spirit of the sport — skill, strategy, and plenty of fun.
